We aim to reply within two working days. It helps if you tell us your iOS version, whether you're using BloomBook Plus, and what you expected to happen.

Please don't send us your child's health data. We don't need it and we don't want it. We can help without ever seeing a record.

If this is about your child's health, we're the wrong door. Call your local emergency number in an emergency, or contact your doctor for urgent advice. BloomBook is a record-keeping app and we are not medical professionals.

Questions we're asked most

Where is my baby's data kept?

On your device, and in your own private iCloud database if you're signed into iCloud. We never see it.

See the Privacy Policy for the details.

What happens if I stop subscribing to BloomBook Plus?

Your data is never locked away, and the record stays readable and exportable. Plus features stop: shares this device owns are revoked and participants lose access to the shared record, and the keepsake Book reader, the widgets and the watch app step back to the free tier. Renewing Plus does not restore a revoked share: you will need to send new invitations.

Can both parents log?

Yes. Only the parent who owns the record needs BloomBook Plus to share it; the invited co-parent can log without a Plus subscription. Invite them from Settings → Family & Sharing. Grandparents and carers can be invited view-only.

Is BloomBook connected to any national health service or official child health record?

No. BloomBook is an independent app and is not an official child health record. The schedules and milestones it displays come from publicly available public-health sources, and where the app links out, it links to the original publisher.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Delete Data removes the record from your device and iCloud and revokes the shares you own. Participants’ cached copies are removed when their devices next sync while the app is open; an offline copy can remain until then. Uninstalling the app deletes on-device data.

Do it in that order: uninstalling on its own leaves the iCloud copy and any share you've created in place.

Which devices does it support?

iPhone and iPad (iOS and iPadOS 26), an Apple Watch companion (watchOS 26, with Plus), and Home and Lock Screen widgets.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The growth charts, the schedules and the milestone library all ship inside the app, so these work without a connection. iCloud sync catches up when you're back online.

How do I get my record out?

For records you own, Settings → Data & Export gives you a health-record PDF built for sharing at an appointment, and a CSV structured per data type. Both are free, whether or not you subscribe.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

BloomBook Plus is billed by Apple through your Apple ID, so it's managed there: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. We can't see, change or refund a subscription on your behalf; Apple handles all of it.

Something not right?

If something in the app is wrong, please tell us: a schedule that doesn't match, a milestone in the wrong place, a number that doesn't add up. A short note about what you saw and what you expected is enough to work from.
